Weird Bush Thing in Snow

I've got some snow pics I'm going to post over the next couple of days or so. They were mostly (all?) taken in November when we got our first snow and I was real excited about it. I've calmed down some now, but I wouldn't mind another good snowfall in the slightest.

This weird bush thing caught my eye because it looked like a string of beads against the snow.

Closeup of weird bush thing. I'm sure the cats have gotten tons of these stuck in their fur by now.

Hi, wonderful site! You're a person after my own heart, getting away from the noise of urban life. Some day I'm going to get back to the rural life I grew up with. I believe the plant you have there might a species of Agrimonia, family Rosaceae, perhaps Agrimonia striata. They have traditionally been used in ancient Greece for eye ailments, and in folk medicine in Europe for similar ailments. Recent studies have shown that some of these plants stimulate cytokine production thereby boosting the immune response. Probably more info than you wanted or needed... :)
